Friends, we have a huge announcement: we’re building a new store!
This project has been in the works for a couple years, and on Thursday evening (June 13), surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues, we were thrilled to host the official groundbreaking ceremony at the new location.
The new spot will be at 3011 Galena Rd, which is just off Airport Rd, right next to Biaggi’s and Ancho & Agave on Bloomington’s east side. Currently, it’s an empty patch of grass. But it won’t stay that way for long. Designed locally by Hewn Architectural Studio and built locally by Catalyst Construction, we imagine the new Jack Lewis Jewelers as a vibrant, multi-faceted destination that offers elevated luxury jewelry experiences to our community and the entire Midwest.
We will, of course, continue to stay open at our current Eastland Drive location until the new store is finished. And then, our next step forward will be to move 2 miles east.
An expansion of this magnitude is only possible because you continue to trust our team to help you celebrate your biggest memories. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your ongoing support and encouragement, and we’re excited to have you join us as the next chapter in our story begins!

The project will be designed locally by Kyle Glandon and Paul Scharnett at Hewn Architectural Studio (the new entity formed at the start of 2024 by the merger of Workbench and SAA), and be built locally by Catalyst Construction, led by the team of Andy Kaufmann, Britt Steffen, and Josiah Koch.
It was an honor to have a crowd of family, friends, and colleagues join us for the celebration.

It's not often you get to build a new store from scratch, so we’re excited to capture and share as much of the process as possible. Over the next several months, as this dream becomes reality, we look forward to taking you behind-the-scenes with us on this once-in-a-lifetime project as we build toward a grand opening of the new Jack Lewis Jewelers in 2025!
